The Eaton 9E is a single-phase online UPS series spanning a wide range of power ratings, from 1kVA units suited to a single server or workstation cluster up to 20kVA models built for small-to-medium data centers, available in both tower and rack form factors depending on capacity and installation needs. True online double-conversion technology provides continuous clean power with zero transfer time during a mains failure.

The India-specific 9E-IN variant is tuned specifically for local grid conditions, with stronger protection against inrush current and improved adaptability to the kind of voltage fluctuations common on Indian power grids, a genuinely relevant detail for installations across Kerala. It includes temperature-compensated charging, automatic battery testing, and deep discharge protection to extend battery service life, along with an LCD interface for at-a-glance status monitoring. Runtime can be extended with up to 4 Extended Battery Modules (EBMs) per unit, and an optional network card enables remote monitoring over HTTPS and SNMP.
